Five Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) Communication students are hosting a diverse children’s book drive from April 18 through April 21 for AUM’s Early Learning Center (ELC) as part of a class public relations civic engagement campaign. Their overall record is 24-6 with a 12-3 record in conference play. In the Gulf South Conference (GSC), the team still sits in the top three seeds within the conference. More than a dozen schools have reported bomb threats against them, including schools such as Howard University, Spelman College, Alcorn State University and Bethune Cookman University. The game featured two underdogs in playoffs battling for the Lombardi trophy: the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. It also featured new commercials and a halftime music performance. The different variants that have been discovered are Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omicron. Omicron is the latest variant and was discovered by researchers in November 2021.
