Move over Zaxby’s- there’s a new chicken place in town and they plan on providing some serious competition. Montgomery has welcomed plenty of restaurants in the past two years. The most recent is Huey Magoo’s, a popular chicken tender shack.
That’s right, the “Filet Mignon of Chicken” has found itself in the River Region. The popular restaurant had its beginnings in Orlando, Florida in 2004. Founded by two men from the south with a passion for chicken, it has now expanded into a successful chain restaurant with locations in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Now, the first Alabama location is right here in Montgomery, Ala.
Huey Magoo’s prides itself in serving quality chicken. They only serve the top 3% of chicken, or what they call the best part of the chicken. Although they take pride in the chicken tenders, the restaurant has more to offer on its menu. From buffalo chicken sandwiches to salads and wraps, you are sure to find your favorite variation of the chicken on the menu.
