AUM Warhawks suffers heartbreaking loss to Saint Leo in extra innings

By: Cameron Grant MONTGOMERY, Ala – Auburn University at Montgomery's (AUM) baseball team faced off against Saint Leo University Lions last Friday. It was the first time these two teams had played against each other in a doubleheader matchup. In a doubleheader against Saint Leo, AUM's baseball team lost both games, with a final score of 9-8 in game one followed by an 8-0 loss against the Lions in game two.  AUM's Wade Chandler, Clay Slagle, Grant Hickman, Tommy Vickers, Michael Myers, and Brett Pitts allowed 16 hits combined in the first doubleheader loss against the Lions.  The Warhawks started…

The firing came less than 48 hours after the Tigers lost to Arkansas at home by 14 points.
