NFL Players Could Know Where Their New or Old Home is on March 18

The NFL is a source of entertainment for many people across the world. With the 2019-2020 NFL season just ending, players can’t seem to catch a break. Whether players are focused on spending quality time with their families, perfecting their craft or following news about their team, football is still relevant in their life. In addition, some retired, current and potential NFL players will be looking for a new place to call home as the trade deadline and NFL draft approaches.

The NFL draft is April 23, 2020. Based on the NFL draft order, the first pick is projected to go to the Cincinnati Bengals. They are expected to draft Joe Burrow, former quarterback for the LSU Tigers. Many teams are moving up in the draft to take a quarterback, so it is not guaranteed that the Bengals will draft him. Most people are also keeping an eye out for former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Tagovailoa is expected to go early in the draft. However, many teams have injury concerns and want to know if he will be fully healthy due to his injury history in college. He is expected to be picked up by the Miami Dolphins or the Los Angeles Chargers at picks five or six.

An interesting pick is pick seven. With the fate of the Carolina Panthers resting on quarterback Cam Newton, this pick has created plenty of buzz. The Panthers are expected to draft Derrick Brown, a defensive lineman for the Auburn Tigers. However, this pick is based solely on the trade deadline: March 18, 2020. Newton is a valuable asset to the team when healthy. He recently had surgery and is set to work out for the Panthers, which will allow the team to see where they stand at the quarterback position.

The trade deadline is also important to the New England Patriots. This team will be in need of a quarterback if they decide to move on from Tom Brady. Since he is approaching a certain age, many people speculate that Brady will either retire or get traded in order for the Patriots to invest in their future.
