BY: Hannah Long The AUM Warhawks set out to face University of Alabama in Huntsville Chargers on March 6 in a three-game series. The windy and cold weather was not ideal for the first game, but that did not stop the Warhawks.  Micah Henderson took the mound for seven innings and did not give up any runs. For AUM Women’s Soccer, it has impacted their season.  The team plays roughly 17 games each season,and more if they make it to the GSC tournament. The Warhawks finished the season with a winning record at 15-14 and competed in the program’s first-ever Gulf South Conference Championship.  AUM struggled to begin their season, dropping three of their first five games to Rollins, Miles, and Embry-Riddle. BY: Jason Martin In their first season as full members of NCAA DII’s Gulf South Conference, Auburn University at Montgomery’s women’s basketball team showed a great deal of promise during the 2019-20 season. The Warhawks finished the season with a 12-16 record and went 5-15 in conference play. Led by senior forward Victoria Morales, AUM improved upon their 5-23 record from the 2018-19 campaign.  AUM started the season strong by going 4-1 against regional non-conference opponents.
