AUM Homecoming Setting the Tone for 2022

BY: Chris Porter Between Feb. 4-12, 2022, Auburn University at Montgomery will be hosting its annual homecoming. During this time, former students return to celebrate the existence of AUM and to reconnect with the student body, faculty and staff. Many different events and activities are taking place as part of the homecoming tradition, including a celebration of Black History Month to honor the contributions of African-Americans to history.  To get more thoughts on homecoming, I sat down with SGA president Keenan Carter. Campus Activities Board to host tent party

BY: Jayla Brown Homecoming is officially back at AUM, and so is the tent party we all love. On February 10, 2022, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) is bringing back the infamous Tent Party: Part 2. If you missed the first one, you do not want to miss this one. The party is from 10 p.m. to midnight. It will be held behind the library tower in the grass area. The party will feature one of our favorites, DJ Red. This event is open to AUM students only. CAB asks that every student bring their student ID for entry. The tent party is free, and all you have to bring is your dance moves.  The last party was held right before COVID-19 shut down the United States in Spring 2020. The campus is buzzing with high anticipation. This party is sure to be a hit, so don’t be late.
