MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Myself (Chris Wadkins) and Brandi Shines, both communication students at Auburn University at Montgomery, created a promo first week of classes for our new audio talk show, “Warhawk Audio Weekly,” also known as WAW.
We discuss first-day jitters, summer vacation, a local heat wave advisory and what to expect during the first week of college on the Aug. 17 episode of WAW. We also cover entertainment news, including the death of 36-year-old U.S. actress Hayden Panettiere, Spider-Man’s record-breaking $360 million box office success, as reported this week in AP News. Overall, our show gives students a quick look at what is happening around campus that affects them as well as national news topics while welcoming everyone back for this semester.
