Tickets for the event are on sale now at ticketmaster.com. You can also purchase tickets at the MPAC box office. Josh Turner is a country superstar who has been nominated for 18 awards throughout his music career. Though he has been nominated 18 times, he has only won twice. He won the 2010 Single of the Year for his song “Why Don’t We Just Dance”. More recently, he won the 2019 Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year for his song “I Saw the Light”. BY: Allison Stewart Want to experience a Thanksgiving event like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? Do not worry — Alabama State University has you covered. On November 28, ASU will host their annual Turkey Day Classic Parade. The parade is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., with a football game to follow. It will take place in downtown Montgomery. The parade will include something for everyone. Some of the entries include: decorated vehicles, floats and bands. Local schools, businesses, non-profits, and organizations will be featured. If you would like to volunteer to be a parade marshall, please visit alasu.edu. Applications are due by Nov. 13. This is a great way to enjoy the parade while giving back to the community.
