My Favorite Shops at Holiday Market 2019

BY: Molly Gray Anyone who knows me knows that I love any type of Christmas market. I always have to go to Holiday Market and Christmas Village every year. This year, I decided to look at my favorite shops at Holiday Market this year. Here are my top 5 favorite ones. RK Collections Boutique The moment that I walked up to this booth, I fell in love. They had out their fall and winter collection, being that we were at a Christmas-themed event. What I loved was the fact that the pieces were all stylish and trendy. If you found something that you liked, it was likely that it came in multiple colors, so that you could find the color that was best for you. Halloween Safety Tips

BY: Allison Singleterry Halloween is less than two weeks away, and there are many ways to help everyone have a safe experience.  When dressing up for Halloween, make sure kids are wearing something bright, or incorporate reflective tape so people who are driving in the neighborhoods are able to spot them quickly. It’s also a good idea to make sure not to have really long dresses or things like long sticks or swords where kids can get hit or trip over things easily.  Make sure to go trick-or-treating in an area or neighborhood you are familiar with. When walking through the neighborhood, make sure to stay on the sidewalk or to the far edge of the street if there is no sidewalk.  As for the drivers on ...

The History of Halloween

The festival celebrated the end of the year and the beginning of winter. The Celts believed that winter was associated with death. They believed that October 31 was when ghosts came back to earth.
