Valentine’s Day Treats That Are Better Than Chocolate

Each year people tend to buy the same treats on Valentine’s Day: chocolate, flowers, and Hallmark cards. Instead of visiting the grocery store, check out the menu at the local fast food restaurants.  

Many food chain restaurants are getting into the romantic spirt, and if you or your significant other are trying to find ways to make Valentine’s Day a little bit sweeter then here are some treats that can be found in your area.

Chick-Fil-A

If you are not a chocolate fan then this is the treat for you. Chick-Fil-A is selling their famous chicken in heart shaped trays on Valentine’s Day. According to Chick-Fil-A’s Twitter page, all you have to do is ask for the tray and you can get a 30 count of nuggets, 10 or 6 count of minis, or if you do want something sweet than you can also get a 12 count of cookies.

Krispy Kreme

There are so many ways to decorate donuts and Krispy Kreme is offering costumers conversation heart doughnuts. These donuts look like just like the heart shape candy with specials messages on them. They also come in four different flavors such as cake batter, chocolate Kreme, raspberry filled, and strawberry Kreme. Unfortunately, you do not get to create your own message, but the treat will be sure to fulfill your cravings.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden is arranging the breadstick bouquet. Not only is this a great alternative from something sweet, but this treat shows your creative side. According to Delish, you can print out the wrapping paper from the Pop Sugar website. After that, stop by Olive Garden and order your bread sticks. Dairy Queen

The Valentine’s Blizzard is back at Dairy Queen and this treat is for people who love the combination of chocolate and strawberries. It is not just strawberry ice cream with chocolate on top. According to Delish, the Blizzard is made from chunks of Ghirardelli chocolate, and strawberry topping all blended together. Just ask for the Choco Dipped Strawberry Blizzard and do not forget if the employee does not serve it upside down then you can received a coupon for a free Blizzard. Dairy Queen is also selling Valentine ice cream cakes called the Dipped Strawberry Cupid Cake, and you can go online to order.

Waffle House

On Valentine’s Day the Waffle House on Zelda Road is decorating their booths with red table cloths and flowers. This may not be the most romantic dinner setting to some people, but maybe for breakfast. This just shows how the restaurants is also showing the public some love.

Now if your Valentine prefers flowers, chocolate, and stuff animals then it is probably best to go the simple route. Do whatever makes that person happy, because Valentine’s Day is all about being there for someone. However, these are just some clever options to make someone’s day a little brighter.
