Hot Topics Café is Housing’s monthly open discussion forum. The #MeToo movement has been a prevalent topic on social media and in the news, and this is your chance to weigh in!
The big question being asked: has the movement been taken too far or is this an appropriate response? Also, how have Hollywood women really been leaders in this movement? Housing will not only be talking about #MeToo and sexual harassment but also what feminism means, equal pay, and other women’s struggles.
The event is open to all AUM students and will be held March 21 at 7 p.m. in the Landing, which is located in the Nest next to Warhawk Hall. Please join Housing and Residence Life for an open, honest discussion on what role women and men play in #MeToo!
