Warhawk Audio Weekly’s (WAW) Oct. 7 episode took a serious turn with conversations about hazing and entertainment industry news; top stories included the ongoing university fraternity scandals: the Jane Doe v. Cornell University ongoing case and the alleged hazing incident of numerous fraternity pledges at an Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity near the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
About the Wisconsin pledge incident, according to a September NBC report, the Madison Police Department responded to an anonymous tip and found approximately 30 partially clothed young men covered in food and other liquids, with several showing visible injuries. Two fraternity leaders were arrested, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Continuing the discussion of hazing, WAW also covered another university that is also under scrutiny for fraternity misconduct. The University of Arizona is facing suspension of fraternity activities amid misconduct investigations. On Oct. 7, AP reported that the allegations included hazing, physical assault and drug and alcohol-related behavior involving nearly half of the university’s fraternity chapters.
WAW conversation veered to the merger between Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. In an Oct. 6 announcement, Paramount confirmed that it had completed the acquisition, bringing the companies together under the name Skydance.
Although this week’s episode of WAW was shorter than usual, next week WAW will cover Chris’s experiences with Furnace Fest 2026, the music festival held over two days at the Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in Birmingham.
