Tips for Going to Any Christmas Market

BY: Molly Gray I am obsessed with going to Christmas markets in the area. There is just something so fun and magical about shopping in a Christmas Wonderland. I go to two markets every single year. Therefore, I have learned a lot, so I want to share my tips for going to any Christmas market. Look at the schedule for the market. This may seem like a simple thing, but it is very important. Most markets span over the weekend and offer a preview night. Preview nights are nice, but they cost extra. Therefore, you need to know what will take place each day. My best advice is to not attend on a Saturday unless you have no other option. Everyone goes on Saturdays, so it is extra crowded. Beware of strollers. Kick Off Christmas at the Shoppes at EastChase

BY: Allison Stewart Right before the turkeys are stuffed and gobbled away in your belly, The Shoppes at EastChase will ignite your Christmas spirit. On Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2019, they are hosting their annual “All is Bright!” event. The event takes place from 6-8 p.m. at 7274 EastChase Pkwy Montgomery, AL 36117. The family-fun event is free and open to the community. It will host both a parade and fireworks show. BY: Molly Gray Anyone who knows me knows that I love any type of Christmas market. I always have to go to Holiday Market and Christmas Village every year. This year, I decided to look at my favorite shops at Holiday Market this year. Here are my top 5 favorite ones. RK Collections Boutique The moment that I walked up to this booth, I fell in love. They had out their fall and winter collection, being that we were at a Christmas-themed event. What I loved was the fact that the pieces were all stylish and trendy. If you found something that you liked, it was likely that it came in multiple colors, so that you could find the color that was best for you. If you are struggling with an idea of what to do, look at this list of top costumes for this year. The first things you can think about are the popular movies that have come out this year. If you are a Disney fan, you can look into dressing up as Aladdin characters like Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and Genie.
