Hey Y’all, It’s Fall!

BY: D’cara Hood

The leaves are turning, the weather is perfect and there’s plenty of fun to be had. We have now made it through the dawg days of summer. We look forward to the crisp cool air, and excited about fall. From the cool evenings under the Friday night lights, to finally the perfect outfit to wear to the fair.

If your fall bucket list includes carving jack o’lanterns, sipping apple cider, or toasting s’mores then you are in for some good company. Fall comes with some of the most exciting events and activities. With fall comes corn mazes, wondering through this confusing configuration is something for all to enjoy. Homecoming, no matter if you are in high school or college this tradition that everyone likes to celebrate. A great way for alumni to comeback and visit there old stomping ground. Trick-or-treating must be the one time kids may enjoy talking to others. This spooky sweet field activity is great for the young and young at heart.

It’s bonfires Y’all, building a giant fire for fun without calling the fire department. Inviting your friends and family out for some wholesome fun. Food, drinks, and a good time never hurt anybody. Black Friday shopping, the day after Thanksgiving biggest sale ever. Also, with fall comes the abundant use of pumpkin spice. It is a great dash of flavor to add to your coffee. Ask any Starbucks employee. A few of my favorite fall things are warm cozy sweaters, and scarfs. Wearing boots and monogram sweatshirts, they always say you dress better when its cold outside.

So, by now if you are not in the mood for a warm cozy time you are surely missing out. Hey Y’all its fall and things are sure starting to heat up around here. Grab your favorite fuzzy blanket, and some apple cider and sit a spell!
