Curtiss Course Critiques

At the conclusion of every semester, AUM allows students to provide important feedback regarding their classes. These evaluations are known among students and faculty as Curtiss Course Evaluations.

Students can anonymously rate and review their classes and professors. These evaluations are important feedback for the teachers and departments. Students are allowed to be honest about what stood out to them. Students can also provide details about what did not work for the class. Maybe a particular teaching technique by the professor really helped the student understand, or maybe the explanations were not sufficient. The evaluations are reviewed and taken into consideration for teachers when preparing for future courses. This is the place where students can provide constructive criticism.

The Curtiss Evaluations are not a waste of time. They are a place where students’ voices can be heard. Though the evaluations are not exactly mandatory, AUM stresses the importance of students taking the time to complete them. This is how changes are able to be made, and it is also how teachers know how they can better help the AUM student body.

So rather than sitting back and being silent, take five minutes to review the Curtiss Course Evaluations. Not only will departments and teachers thank you, but other students may benefit in later semesters. These evaluations are an open outlet specifically created to listen to student voices.
