McCain becomes all-time kill leader in AUM volleyball history

Senior outside hitter Kendall McCain made history, becoming Auburn University at Montgomery’s all-time leader in career last month in a dramatic match against Valdosta State at The Athletics Complex. “Breaking the record is special to me,” McCain said, “I put in a lot of work these past few years, so I’m super honored that they recognized it and everything.” The volleyball star recorded her record-breaking 760th kill midway through the match, surpassing the previous mark of 759 held by former player Nyah Whittlesey who…

Yesterday AUM Housing and Residence Life hosted their annual Showtime at the Apollo event at The Commons Pedway. Students got to compete against each other while showcasing their talents. The winners of the event were The Lucky Lorax in first place, Ghostface in second place and Rodd in third place.

Auburn University Montgomery greeted its newest Warhawks last Friday during the university's annual New Student Convocation, where students learned what it means to be a Warhawk. The event started at 9:30 a.m. at the Taylor Center where students were grouped by college, including the College of Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Business, the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and the University College, giving new students an opportunity to mingle with other freshmen and transfer students from their college.
