Spring has sprung in Montgomery

Springtime is here and so are the activities. Are you looking for something fun to do this spring? The City of Montgomery has so many fun events planned for the month of April for you and the whole family. Whether you are interested in getting fit, learning more, or just hanging out with family, dive into this article and watch your calendar fill up with fun for this Spring season.

Dino Dig Education 

When: April 1,2023 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Location: Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Museum 

Info: In this hands-on learning experience. Junior explorers get to experience an archaeological dig, discover bones, and learn about creatures that roamed the earth long ago.

Community Easter Egg Hunt 

When: April 1, 2023 11 a.m. -1 p.m.

Location: Blount Cultural Park

In an interview Montgomery Native, Teresa Chance, gives perspective into why she loves Montgomery in the Spring, “I love the way the city comes together in this season, as soon as the weather gets warm we all storm out of hibernation and the city is great about having events already scheduled for the whole family” The events don’t just stop after this season, Montgomery has events planned year round so that you never have a weekend with nothing to do.
