There will be two ceremonies hosted in AUM Gymnasium. One ceremony will start at 10:00 am and the other will start at 2:00 pm. A reception will be held in the Taylor Center, room 221, immediately after each graduation ceremony.
Graduation Times:
10:00 a.m. Colleges of education, Nursing & Health Sciences, and Public Policy and Justice
2:00 p.m. College of Arts and Sciences, and Business
Guests:
All guest are asked to arrive early to be seated in the gym. Once the capacity has been reached, or ceremony has started, no one will be able to enter the gymnasium on the first floor with no exceptions. If a guest leaves the first floor after the ceremony has started, you will not be allowed back on the first floor. Goodwyn 109 will also be set up to view graduation for those whom arrive late or has small children. All phones are asked to be turned off or silenced, please. Cameras are prohibited in the aisles where the ceremony is hosted.
Graduates:
There will be a required pre-ceremony rehearsal to give instructions before both graduations ceremonies in the Taylor Center, room 230. The College of Education, Nursing & Health Sciences, and Public Policy and Justice pre-ceremony rehearsal will begin at 8:30 a.m. The College of Arts and Sciences and College of Business pre-rehearsal ceremony will begin at 12:30 p.m. If you do not attend pre-rehearsal you will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony. Black clothing and black shoes are recommended but not mandatory to be worn under your cap and gown. Caps are allowed to be decorated, please be mindful. After the ceremony graduates are to pick their diploma up from the lobby of the Taylor Center.
