Satire: Are Potato Chips Just Fried Vegetables?

Potato chips are just fried vegetables and need to be eaten with every meal-it could be beneficial for your health.

The potato chip derives from the potato and is defined as a fried crispy delectable snack that is usually salted or flavored. Yet, it is considered an unhealthy snack, but why can’t it be reclassified as healthy? Potato chips should be considered as a part of a healthy balanced meal and should be served with all forms of meals.

The potato is a starchy vegetable, and it helps with fiber and lowering cholesterol. When it is sliced, fried, and salted, it becomes unhealthy. Instead of adding salt, the potato needs to stay as a plainly fried vegetable so it can remain healthy. Now that the potato chip is considered healthy, can it be added to meals that usually are paired with cooked potatoes?

Potatoes are cooked in several ways with over a thousand meals, but what about the potato chip? Have you ever tried Eggs Benedict with chips? What about filet mignon with chips? Parmesan chicken with chips? There’s a soup for every vegetable except potato chips. Potato chip soup is a real recipe. There are a variety of ways to serve this healthy fried vegetable!

This raises the question: Can other vegetables such as zucchini, kale, or even eggplant be fried and healthy at the same time? Those vegetable being fried as chips sound very disgusting and unappetizing, so potato chips will have to stay relevant as a healthy delectable fried vegetable for the time being.
