It’s a warm mid morning in downtown Montgomery where hundreds of college students from around the state gather to march to the state house for Higher Ed day.  In an effort to speak up about the price of college and the rises in tuition. U.S. News & World Report today recognized Auburn University at Montgomery’s online degree offerings among the best in the country. The new rankings edition includes nearly 1,500 distance education degree programs, with AUM earning a slot among the 2018 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs (#210) and among the discipline-specific ranking of online graduate degrees in Education (#168). Auburn University at Montgomery will host its Fall commencement ceremonies on December 9 in the Gymnasium. Graduates from the College of Business, College of Education, and College of Public Policy and Justice will walk in the first ceremony at 10 a.m. Graduates from the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Nursing and Health Services will walk in the second ceremony at 2 p.m. After each ceremony, Auburn University at Montgomery will provide refreshments for graduates, family and friends in a tent on the Quad.
