On February 8th, Theatre AUM went to Americus, Georgia to perform their production of Woyzeck at the Rylander Theatre as one of five productions in Region 4 chosen to attend the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. All of the 23 cast and crew members attended KCACTF. AUM Online Programs Ranked Among the Best by U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report today recognized Auburn University at Montgomery’s online degree offerings among the best in the country. The new rankings edition includes nearly 1,500 distance education degree programs, with AUM earning a slot among the 2018 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs (#210) and among the discipline-specific ranking of online graduate degrees in Education (#168). It’s not every day the Director of Student Involvement and Leadership gets locked up. On November 16, Joel Hughes was placed “under arrest” in a campaign to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Muscular Dystrophy is a group of diseases that cause a loss of muscle mass and progressively weakens the muscle. Updated Policy for Student Accounts

Updated Policy for Student Accounts

The Office of Student Accounts has changed its policy for holds on students accounts and registration cancellation. Students will no longer blocked from registration for owing $500 or less. Instead, a hold will be placed on the release of the student's transcripts. Also, students who owe more than $3,000 on the day of the registration cancellation deadline will be immediately withdrawn from classes. Auburn University at Montgomery will host its Fall commencement ceremonies on December 9 in the Gymnasium. Auburn University at Montgomery’s new Sports Information Director is Mr. Matthew Paul Pellegrim. Pellegrim is responsible for keeping statistics for the home games, writing press releases, running media, live video streams, highlights and edits, giving interviews, being the liaison between media and public, and setting interviews for coaches and athletes. Mr. Pellegrim was born Oct. 27 in Meridian, Mississippi. During his childhood years, Pellegrim was always active; he loved to play basketball and enjoyed watching football. On December 2 from 1 to 4 p.m., the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) will host a Holiday Open House, sponsored by BBVA Compass Foundation. In the month of October, the program hosted three immigration-themed events for the campus community.
