AUM’s lecture series will host Catherine Coleman Flowers on April 18 for a discussion of public health and environmental justice issues. These issues face economically disadvantaged and minority citizens in rural Alabama communities.
Flowers’ lecture entitled “Environmental Justice–What Are We Leaving Our Children?” begins at 7 p.m. in Goodwyn Hall 112 and is free to the public.
There will be a meet and greet in the Goodwyn Hall lobby before the event. This event is co-sponsored by the Montgomery Chapter of the Sierra Club.
