Auburn University at Montgomery hosted its Alumni Tailgate last weekend

Last Saturday, April 22, 2023, Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) hosted past alumni and their families for a tailgate at the baseball game against Valdosta State University (VSU). The event provided alumni with an opportunity to reconnect with their AUM community and support the Warhawks. The tailgate was held on the fan deck of the AUM Baseball Complex, and lunch was included. Families had to register to participate in the event.

The AUM alumni tailgate started at 1 p.m. Central Standard Time. People attended the event for various reasons, such as the sense of community, the organization of the event, and the chance to catch up with other alumni and enjoy great food.

AUM’s Alumni Association organized the event and worked hard to ensure its success. AUM’s website describes alumni as invaluable to the university’s growth and a great source of support for students. AUM’s Alumni association has also organized other events, such as the Alumni homecoming celebration, the young alumni mixer, and alumni night at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, as well as alumni night at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.

In conclusion, AUM alumni of all ages should attend these events, whether recent graduates or those who graduated years ago, as they provide an opportunity to reconnect with the university community and support the Warhawks.
