AUM Names Jon Plefka as New Head Coach for Women’s Basketball Team

Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) has welcomed the appointment of Jon Plefka as the new head coach for the women's basketball team. He is replacing Steve Kenner, who was the interim head coach for the women's team. Plefka is an experienced coach with an impressive track record, having previously worked with Post University in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). As a college athlete, he played basketball for Bob Knight at Texas Tech University and also played baseball for the Texas Tech who was coached by Larry Hays and was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels to play Major League Baseball (MLB).
