The AUM Talons have twirled their way on to our campus. The Talons Dance Team has been active on Auburn University at Montgomery’s campus for the past four years. The Talons’ dance style has a combination of jazz, hip-hop, majorette, and lyrical dancing. With many of the girls on the team acquiring different skills and styles, they plan on bringing something new and creative to AUM to promote school spirit.
Raven Tolbert, an executive member of the Talons, says their goal is to get the AUM community engaged through the art of dance. The Talons will be performing at the Halloween party (hosted by CAB) on October 31 and at the Apollo (hosted by Housing) on October 18.
Tryouts for the Talons are held every semester. The next tryout will be held Spring 2020. If you are interested in becoming an AUM Talon, please be on the lookout around campus for the next auditions.
