The theme for Summer 2019 was “Hot Girl Summer”. This summer’s theme came from up and coming rap artist, Megan Thee Stallion.
Megan Pete, better known as Megan Thee Stallion, came up with this phrase to encourage women to be confident in themselves while looking good and having fun. This summer was filled with beautiful women who expressed themselves freely by showing their confidence. Along with trying to promote confidence, Megan’s music has given women the right type of confidence.
As summer comes to an end, the trend does not seem to be ending. With the fall season beginning, the new theme is “Hot Girl Semester”. Megan is a third-year college student at Texas Southern University, and she is trying to promote education. While Megan is getting her degree in health administration, she still finds time to get her schoolwork done for the semester. Megan inspires students going through the daily struggles of life by continuing to pursue her degree despite the obstacles in her way. To help all the other “Hot Girls” who are attending school in the Fall, Megan gives a few tips on how to ace this semester and more semesters to come. These tips are not just for the Hot Girls, but for the Hot Boys as well.
Having a planner is much more beneficial than one would think. As college students and young adults, trying to remember everything can become impossible. If you cannot afford a planner, use your cell phone reminders.
Sitting in the front of the class is not just for the students who cannot see, but also for students who are trying to focus on the lecture.
Dressing in business casual attire two days out of the week should prepare any student that is going to enter the workforce in the future.
Procrastination is the enemy of all college students. By doing our schoolwork ahead of time, we can dedicate the time to doing the things that we want to do.
Before attending her after-party Megan got online to complete her homework assignments. If Megan Thee Stallion can travel the world, attend award shows, and do her schoolwork, I believe that there is no excuse for the rest of us college students.
