The Montgomery Zoo’s Earth Day Safari is designed to give information about the various exotic animal residents to elementary-aged students.
This event will teach the importance of conservation, preservation, and recycling. There will be learning experiences from sponsors and zookeepers, as well as a scavenger hunt. Sponsors such as the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art will demonstrate recycling, air pollution, and easy craft-making to help save the Earth from pollutants. Zookeepers will give information about their wild residents outside their viewing stations. The scavenger hunt will consist of five stations where your little explorer will learn about the importance of the planet’s survival and ecological state will have on them in their future. Also, there will be many games for all ages to play throughout the park.
This event will be held on Monday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There are admission discounts for children, toddlers, seniors, AAA, and military families. Montgomery Zoo member admission is free. You may buy your ticket at the gate or online.
